Well I'm getting tuned on the 20th by Ed and I'm pretty Excited. My goal is to run 11's at my elevation(5500ft) reno, nv. I have ran a 12.4 at 119mph with a 1.9 60ft so i need to get that down but I did do an 07 sti tranny swap.

Top mount? 20G? First I've heard those used together. Really nice trap tho.

What kind of EM did you have for the 119mph pass? Pump gas? Timeslip?

Did you blow the stock shortblock or just upgrade pistons as a precaution?

I went to DB tuned and got tuned! on that tune I blew something and then I had ED come up to reno and tuned it. But he was worried about my motor.(we didn't do any kind of compression check before the tune) I ran my car with the ap v2 on race gas my numbers were 350 385 on 109 unleaded and 310 310 on 91 oct. the tune was pretty conservative and was rich cause of the crap nevada gas! umm i dont have a slip for it any more since it was about 2 months ago.

I'm assuming that 12.4@119mph is the #'s you corrected them too using the NHRA altitude correction factors?

Cause its hard to believe that a 20G would trap 120mph at 5500ft even on c16. That would mean it would be trapping 125-130 at sea level. And I dont see that happening.

Nice to see 2.5L WRXs making such good numbers (119 trap is fantastic). Good choice on the STI tranny swap too!

Enjoy!
