Default help for a newbie to subaru scene with 95 legacy wagon questions

greetings everyone I just got a 95 legacy wagon and I would like to mod it a little, as all of you should know, or correct me if Im wrong but its hard to find performance parts for this car, I would greatly appreciate if you could share some information about compatibility.
1 is there any motor that is compatible with my car's, so i can look for hi performance parts?
2 can I install a k&n intake system advertised for an impreza wrx in my wagon? k&n doesn't carry any specific system for my car, just stock filters.
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-0319
if not please point me in teh direction of one i can use.
3 would the bumper cover of a legacy outback or impreza fit without any modification into my wagon?
4 how about turbos, or superchargers, many subarus use the j22t engine, and some of them are supercharged or turbo, would any of those fit my wagon's engine?
5 exhaust systems, same problem i haven't found any manufacturer that carries a sport exhaust for my car, can i use other subarus pipes?
6 would you recommend using multi electrode sparks and nology hotwires?
7 headlights, could i fit some other subarus' in mine?
finally taillights, the sportest ones i found are clear but only in the lower part, and i would like some that are all clear, has anyone seen anything like that?
8 sway bars, i've been reading a lot about sway bars and suspension mods, is any other subaru's susp, compatible so i can install suspension upgrades?
thanks a lot and sorry for so many questions

Depends on what you're looking for, but they did use the EJ22 in the Impreza/Outback Sports of the era. And if you didn't already know the Outback is almost same as the Legacy wagon.

No, a turbo intake will not work. You can search around this forum for some other intakes that would work. EBay is actually a decent place, but sometimes you have to do a little modification.

Outback, it will fit, Impreza or Outback Sport, will not.

The EJ22T has a stronger block and lower compression ratio for the turbo application. The NA EJ22 is not designed for a lot of boost, but yes you can use all the OEM components to build a turbo setup but you will have to have some engine management to avoid breaking anything. Check out the Normally Aspirated with bolt-on Forced Induction Powertrain forum (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=50) to see how some people have done it - there is a right and a wrong way.

Borla comes to mind. Anything for the 95-98 2.5L Legacy/Outback will also work. Impreza exhaust will work with modification.

Some people have done OEM JDM light assembly swaps.

The Outback's sway bar is beefier and would make a good upgrade. A lot of other suspension components do swap between the Impreza - you can search the forum if you have something specific in mind.

Did you see the stickies at the top? Especially the one that said "read first"?
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=973119

Exhaust: borla, stromung, SPT, etc... Or make it yourself.

Headlights: anything fits if you try hard enough. Best plan of action is either JDM lights or swapping in projectors of some kind into your current housings.

Taillights: JDM with clear turn signals or make them yourself.

Bumper: No. No bumper will fit without modification. You have a 95. You'll need a different bumper beam to fit any the other styles.

For turbo's and such, I recommend you spend some time reading before you spend your money.

Suspension: again, look at the faq...

not an inconvenience, but the information is there, just takes a little bit of reading. 2-3 weeks of solid reading researching would answer alot of questions.

Whiteline makes an entire line of suspension for your car:

springs, sways, endlinks, strut braces, etc.

Did you actually order your whiteline parts directly from Australia ???

Or did you purchase through a US based third party (I.E. a "Middleman" who orders in "bulk" from Australia, and sells the parts at a significant markup, but lower than shipping around the world) ?

These guys are the US importer and distributor:

http://www.globalperformanceparts.com/

Most stuff I ordered through these guys. They had to special order my springs from Oz, but it only took about 2.5 wks to get to me. Sways, strut braces, etc. they pretty much had in stock.
