i am currently workin on my version 4 sti i am putting the usdm sti block on it and doin up the internals with forged pisonts and rods and so on. what i would like to know what is a good turbo use with the ej20sti head and usdm sti block.. the car has the vf24 turbo stock on it which is only good for about 18psi boost.. i would like to know what will be a good turbo to use with this setup i want a turbo that has god drivability and spools very quick and can probaly get me into the 12 second or higher range. i was lookin at the vf34 and pe1818 what do you think of these turbos and any help will be appreciated.

if i remember right vf34 has a 25psi max but may be wrong. the vf 34 is a good turbo spools at about 3500rpm. has good midrange so its a good track turbo also good daily drive turbo.

-also vf34 can support 350awhp so that can put you in the high 11's to low 12's depending on your car setup.

Realistically , my 34 starts blowing hot hair around ~18-19 PSI I think 25 is a bit high. Race gas and maybe 21-22 is possible with some modifications and MBC, with some crazing timing could get you those numbers. IMHO
