Default Cigar night @ VTR!

Well it has been far to long since our last cigar night, so lets do it again.

Where: At VTR of course!

Why: It's been a great summer and it's time to kick back, relax smoke some stoogies and BS about our rides.

When: October 24th @ 7:00 pm

Bring your own stoogie and refreshment. I will have some of both to share! See you there.

I doubt that I can make the meet but, I would really like someone to school me on cigars. I have a regular poker game at my place and we always end up smoking some crappy ass cigars because we don't know any better. Any chance one of you might give me a top 10 or 5 cigars that are not too expensive but good??

Cigars to me are like wine, i've had some great $2.00 cigars and some great expensive cigars. You probably want to start out with something mild like a Macanudo or Partagas.

So we have one table for Texas hold'em. Can anyone bring a second or third? It looks like it's going to be a cigar smoking, poker night!

portafino macanudo (sp). Comes in a white tube is my personal preferance, its a lot milder than most other cigars that I have tried, and most people that dont smoke cigars that try them agree that they are much less harsh.

any tinderbox (south hill mall has one) and most smokeshops sell them.

I like my cigars like I like my cars. Modified.

I have heard the smoke shop in Totem Lake on 124th sells nice cigars and has a good selection, but their prices seem high on pretty much everything.

Tahir's shop is pretty cheap compared to most places. Most places being the other smoke shop in town.
(Only reason i know his name is that my best friend went in everyday to buy smokes before he was 18 as this was the only place that would sell to him, I only smoke cigars every now and then.)

Why couldn't it be a Monday or Tuesday. I've been wanting to come to your shop for a long time, but never got around to it. Cigars are my thing too. Next time!
