Default 3 year/36,000 service adjustment?

What exactly does this warranty mean on our Subarus:
"3year/36,000 service adjustment (adjustment performed one time)" ????

I posted this in General Community but didn't get a response.

Adjustments such as

Gas cap loose and triggers cel - covered once
TPMS triggered due to low pressure - covered once
Rear drum brake adjustment - covered once
Parking brake adjustment - covered once
Headlight adjustment - covered once

Understand?

Back in the day adjustments were covered once in the first 12 months. Some manufacturers, such as Subaru, have extended this to 3/36. It covers certain items that could have been out of adjustment at time of assembly. i.e trunk, door striker, alignmentm etc. If you think about it, if it was misadjusted from assembly it should only have to be fixed once. It rarely comes up as an issue as most of these are caught before delivery to a customer.

Is this service done at no charge?

I bought my '06 TR new in December of 2005 and I'm 200 miles away from 30k.

is what free?

You dont get a free 30,000 mile service if thats what you are asking.

If you have an item that needs to be adjusted they will do it. But they arent going to do it for no reason.

Not sure what you are asking.

No, you suck.

The way your question is written you appear to be asking if the 30,000 mile service is free.

To answer your underlying question (which btw, had you read the thread you would know the answer) adjustments are covered once (1 time only) within the 3/36 warranty parametres but only if there is a complaint that can be substantiated by the service department, I:E you cannot just go in and say adjust my door.
