Congrats on the nice numbers!!! All at only 23psi!!! How much power to wheels do you think it is if you are saying the Mustang dyno reads low? Redline at 7k...that turbo has a lot more in it if you could pull it to 8k...o well. I can't wait to get my car back and see how much power I make on my new setup

flat torque from 4800-7000, I like!!! Also quite impressed with the 13 psi power

Are you on the 260/272 cossie cams(can you look at your cam sheet)? normally the 278/274 combo has a very spikey torque curve...

Those are some sick a$$ numbers there. I wish if I had a 2.5l.
Take it to the tracks, lets see how it does at the track. Great job.
Nicely done by PDX. Enjoy your new found power.

I THINK that the mustang dyno reads more to real life.. so I think I am getting 453 to the wheels.. .. but I think i would have had 475-485 maby more on a dyno jet or .. dynopack dyno...

I am very happy with the numbers...

also I am pritty sure my cams are 274 I dont want to go try to find them... but here.... Ill post the spec sheet on the cams

I dont know why the tuner jerred stopped at 7k ish... I built the motor to go to 8K.. but I am not worried... ( might have been my tranny we was worried about... .. I asked at the time... but to tell the truth .. I was too excited to pay attention to what he said .. LMAO)
when I get my PPG gears in and go back I will have him take it to 8k..

I think I am looseing out a bit on the top end.. but not a big deal
Ill be back there again soon enough! eheheh

thats the most gorgeous dyno graph i have ever seen, congrats to you, you chose a killer set up and good tuner obviously.

250 to the wheels by 4,100 and then it just keeps going and going, i bet your car is very fun to drive

Wowzers! That kind of power has got to feel incredible!

Sidenote- Anyone know the differance between 06 WRX heads and previous years? Like is an 06 WRX longblock similar to an 02-03 wrx hybrid 2.5L?

saving now for the ppg gears... i am hoping to have them sooner than the end of the year.. cuz i dont think the tranny will make it that long.. but if not ..Ill have em by the end of the year at the latest..

and All i remember about the difference in the heads is that the 06 motor is the SAME as the sti motor.. same avcs and valves and what not... but .. my head is far from stock anymore

video will come soon... just gotta get it off the camcorder and on the computer..

Great numbers and spool up for your setup. Makes me want to work on the low end power of my setup. I'm hoping to make similar numbers to you on our "race gas" 94 octane we have out here.

That's a great looking tune. Look how nice and flat the torque is from 4800 up, and that's only 23psi!? Must be a hell of a ride! Get some PPG's in there and turn it up further!!

The boost is 23 lbs...There are 06 WRX's with 39s that make that kind of torque at 20 lbs...

^^Completely different animal. The 39 is to small of a turbo for the 2.5L and creates a large amount of torque, but low horsepower.

The 35R is a large turbo for the 2.5L that may not make huge torque numbers, but will easily make 200whp more than a 39.

Cams.

Btw, good numbers.

Curious though, why did you start with a WRX instead of the STi?

I'm assuming this is on a FMIC? What kind? I didn't see it in the OP.

Thanks
