Thumbs up March 31st Nazareth Speedway MEET and Auto-X

Hey everybody,
With the Cape May Upon us ...Now lets have a another meet in the works.
I'm thinking a meet at the Speedway during a Auto-X would be GREAT. Nazareth is 1:30hrs from the heart of Either Philly or NYC. This would be a great meet for just the Lehigh Valley, but I think with the Auto-X it would be sweet for everyone! People can just watch &/compete too!
Here are some Auto-x details:
Registration closes at 9:30 and 1st car off at 10:00. Everyone will run 3 or 4 runs in the am and 2 or 4 runs in the pm for a minimum of 5 runs. $20 for members and $25 for non members. Events will be held rain, shine or SNOW.

I'll be up there too, it is a nice lot, and the scenery inside the speedway is interesting too. (We compete on the infield)

Tally Ho Tavern??? It's in Bethlehem, kind of a hall... but in the right direction for most of the people headed back to the philly area...

Ok, I'll be there, but not with an expertly prepped and tuned DSP car. I had a little accident Friday night (with my body, not my car). Anyhoo, If my clutch foot is better by then, I'll still run in DSP... but I can guarantee that I will not come close to doing well...

On the plus side, if I don't run on Saturday, that means I'll be at the computer all day.... , "copy that, 10 cones on red ITR"

---Roy

PS. Where to go after autox? My vote is for Tally-Ho Tavern. It's kinda far from Naz (in S Bethlehem), but it's on the way home for most of the Philly people....

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, now. Need to find a new job. Getting off a Saturday at the end of the month is impossible for me working at U-Haul. Everyone moves at the end of the month 'cause there leases are up, and stuff. And weekends in teh summer are gonna be a PITA to get off, too. Time for a new job so I can make it to meets, shows, and rallies.

Talking

Underaged?? I've been eating at the Ho since I was 16!!! On Saturdays, they don't start carding until 9pm. So we're good until then.

To everyone out there: Would you rather eat at some cheasy chain restaurant, or would you rather eat at one of Playboy Magazines top 10 college Pubs in the country!! No, thats not a joke... Its true!! Anyhoo, contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be 21 unless you plan on staying past 9pm. And if you want to do some drinkin after that (milk and water, of course ), my house is just up the street! Oops, ok, the truth is out.... Let's here what the population has to say! Fight the power!

Have a Nice Day?

Disclaimer: Drinking Alcoholic Beverages is bad. Especially if you are underaged. It will cause you to slide down 40 foot flagpoles and injure your ankle so badly that installing your V5 suspension becomes impossible. You will not be able to run in DSP at the next autocross. Everyone at work will make fun of you. You will look like a dork walking around with a cheesy air-cast. However, you may just happen to meet a foxy orderly at the emergency room....
