Default Blackstone UOA for Amsoil 5W30 (MY06STI)

Previously i was using M1 5W-30 as per dealer recommendations. WRT the increased Copper and Lead content, should i try 5W-40 or 10W30/ 40 for the next oil change ?
Also, the Make up oil should be 0. I am not burning any noticeable quantity of oil.
Thanks for the help and suggestions

during the summer I would use 10w40, winter (your area being TX) 10w30

Mods and driving style/habits?

If you want to try a thicker oil, I would try the 5w40, but Amsoil 5w30 is already thicker than your typical 5w30 oil.

Use a 5w40. I used a 5w40 valvoline synpower for 3881 miles with better results. A UOA of it posted in the service & maintenance forum if you look.

No Power mods at all. Right now i have a amsoil Ea air filter thats all. the car has 27k on it and is driven daily for 70 miles through rush hour traffic.
Oh, i did have one very wet track day with that oil.

That could be the reason for the copper & lead. 5W40 for peace of mind in TX in the summer, IMO. Especially if you hit the track. Do another UOA in 4.5k to see if the wear comes down.

BTW, the "make-up oil" line is for how much additional oil you added during the interval instead of your total capacity.
