I like the 99 headlights better, I was thinking about a B4 style front end.

I would love to see a writer up.

I'm a little confused. Do you want these?
The B4 trim started with this body style. '99 in Japan, but 2000 in the US.

The RS was the former name for the Legacy Turbo sedan. I couldn't find a picture, but the RS-B Wagon had the same front end. Is this what you were thinking?

And your car is a '96? Goodluck with that one. The shapes are completely different. To swap headlights from an '00 to a '96 you would have to have some mad fabrication skills or be willing to spend several thousand bucks on custom hood and probably bumper. Maybe even fenders.

Well from what little research I've done it would involve replacing the core support, headlight buckets and upper rail assemblies and all the updated body panels.

Not that bad just a ton of welding.

I figured I would see if anyone had found a way to do it easier.
