Joint Legacy GT & NASIOC effort. After all the weak sauces dropped out (at some point we had some 40 cars) only 21 made it.

Being in charge of this trip- planning but also the first up the road, I can tell you that the 17 cars that took to the I-88 interstate was a LONG badass convoy...that could barely communicate via walkie talkies from the front to the rear.

We should also have video of this hole thing from 2 cars.

It kicked ass.

I will think about doing it again. But as things stand right now, it was extremely stressful to try and get 2 clubs that normally do not partake in each other's events and folks from 2 states together, on a 350 mile journey. I can only hope you all had as much fun on this trip - you as Subaru enthusiasts and your significant others - as I did.

I would like to thank Whateverland (Archie) for doing a pheomenal convoy control from the rear (he was the rearguard) and to GFX Dave for being the convoy leader and last but certainly not least - the entire IOWA Crew led by QC PUNK. I also extend all my thanks to all the participants: well behaved - they never allowed my greatest fear: road racing. I definitely didn't know half the folks before we all invaded that poor gas station off of I-88...and I left the Galena Cellars knowing that I could not have asked for a better group of friends and a better day to organize this.

Thanks for letting us meet up with you guys! Had a blast (well... except for that little bit of mysterious white smoke that came out of my tailpipe... looking into that today).

Props to f1anatic for making an idea generated over a table discussion of chicken wings, beer, and water (with no ice) into a reality!

Props to everyone else for not causing a 20 car pileup (the caboose was pacing the I-88 convoy at 95 at one point

Do you guys want it ALL, cut, RAW, or with effects. Cause I just checked...there's even funny stuff from the radio chatter as we got lost on the way to the wineyard.

was the radio chatter something like"whoops!"

Andrew, I think the best part which I may have on video is how you and I blew by the winery in complete blissful fun and then shocker...we were half a mile off by the time we noticed.
