Default quick compression question

on a wrx motor with a vf39 and fmic, hypothetically speaking, would changing the stock pistons (8.2:1 ratio i believe?) to a higher compression (perhaps 9.x:1) increase turbo spool up time? thanks

hypothetically speaking "yes". More power down low, harder to tune the higher the boost.

well depending on the bottom end the life span
could be reduced due to the increase in compression.

search FIRST, then PM!!!

your lag would decrease...peak power on pump gas might become a limitation but your power would be more efficient...
this and alky would be a big bonus...even more decreased spool and higher octane for the street.
