Default Annoying "DING,DING,DING".......

I figured out how to silence it and I know where it's coming from! If anyone hates the seat belt "DING" in the 06-07 WRX and want's it GONE let me know! I have a long driveway and if I put my belt on I could not comfortably reverse, but now....it's nice and quiet.....

Turn Ignition to On position, rapidly insert and remove driver seatbelt ~30 times. Dinger off.

The above "seat belt chime delete" works, key in on position then push in seat belt all the way in and out for 30 seconds, then you're set. It's great and no effect on me since I always wear it but I found the warning would come on too quickly and be annoying.

Default Wow....

You guys blew me away with cool ways to stop the chime....I'm kinda speechless.....because the only way I was able to stop it in my car was to drive it off a cliff on fire LMAO.

Actually I just removed the actual chime mechanism in the box under the dash.

Now all I need is to figure out how to get the ugly yellow stickers on the sunvisors off..........

Haha, you went thru all the trouble and that is all you had to do. Now you know it pays to research before you start to dig into things.
