Default Any new info on when the Brian Crower cams for the wrx are coming out?

I haven't read anything in a while about approx. dates or anything. I am slowly planning a hybrid build for this winter and was wanting to do some cams and for the price they seem like they would be a good deal. As long as there are no problems with them. I'm on a budget but want to do things right. But if I can stay away from $900-$1000 cams that would be nice. So any new news?

Call Brian. I saw him in Seattle at the drift event and he was still working on them, and knew they would be a seller.

I just called them last week. They said their usual, "They'll be done by the end of the month". Yea, ive been waiting on mine since January, that is when i put my order in when they said, theyll be out at the end of February! Called them back every month since and it is still "At the end of the month".

Im guessing maybe christmas time or something...

You and everyone else has been waiting on the BC cams to be released. We've been waiting on these since last September and back then they were due out in October (again this was last year).

I have to be honest with you guys, it's already been 1 year of the same "next month" answer. I would not stop my build up waiting on these. There just is no real ETA......

funny I talk with brian about once every two weeks, generally when placing an order...he's rather frustrated as the cam division keeps making all kinds of cams and not the subie ones despite the interest in them...he seemed kind of fed up with the fact that they aren't out yet, last time I talked with him.

I think I should just give him a ring for the hell of it on monday

You'd think "Brian Crower" could control what "Brian Crower Cam Division" is producing if he's so frustrated.

yeah, you would think...but he is also overseeing everything right now and sounds like the cam division also does oem parts...so I'm thinking it is scheduled out ahead of time...
basically he's not micromanaging.

I'm a little confused, and I'm hoping someone in this thread can help me with something.

Are the cams you guys are referring to these?
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ht=crower+cams

I know Brian Crower != Crower. I think the link above is for Crower cams, and my understanding is that those have been available for awhile (based on the thread).

Are these the same cams or what?
