Sorry, I do not own a 360/Forza2 set-up. So I have not way to know how to set-up matching rules for Forza2.

GT4 power-2-weight numbers are not the same. So I had to change/use the numbers the game puts out. I used Dogbert2 car list as a guide.

Go into the your home garge. Then change to second row pull-down below the first row Manufacturer pull-down to pwr-2-wt(see photo). The middle row shows you the power to weight of the cars.

Hey jl05sti,

As no power mods are allowed, it would help if a list of acceptable awd, ff, and rwd are added in the 1st post. This list doesn't have to be all encompassing, but 'competitive' cars for each of the three classes.

P.S. I'll get some times up in each class tonight.

Nice, I'll see if I can get my GT4 disc to work again. Last few times I've tried to play it some of the things in the game weren't loading correctly.

What exactly does "Time Attack is run GT mode" mean? GT mode is the regular career/mode, not the arcade mode, right?

I think it would be pretty cool if you could add an unlimited class that allows any of the production/tuner cars but with power modifications/weight reduction As far as the classes now, is it pretty much an honor system for not doing any power or weight reduction? It doesn't seem like there's any way of knowing if someone is lying, huh?

Correct. GT mode is the regular simulation mode as opposed to arcade mode.

These challenges are done on an honor system. An unlimited class would be hard to do w/o specifying certain cars. For example, a production GT-R can be upgraded to well over 800hp in GT4, but a production STI or Evo can't make much past 500hp.

Now about the power to weight thing, the car has to be 4.000 or higher before we make the modifications right?

You can't make any mods to power. So it has to be 4.000 or higher before an oil change (the only thing which affects hp that's allowed by the rules).

For cars like the STi Spec C, Evo MR, or GT-R their true hp rating is not viewable until after you buy the car and view the car's true performance in your garage. Maybe this is true for most cars in GT4??? That's why having a list would make everything so much eaiser...

I bought another Spec C and after racing brakes, trans, flywheel, clutch, suspension and wheels the power to weight changed to 3.996. That's supposed to happen right?

Is that before or after an oil change?

Yup it's normal. Your car weight stays the same but the oil change increased the horsepower. So your weight to power ratio gets smaller.

Thanks. If only I haven't been at work all day. At least I get to leave in 10 minutes, but I'm not sure if my game is going to work.
