Default Finally Done! How does it look?

BEFORE!

AFTER! Thanks to Dave on the motivation to do my own IC setup! It was a quick job, but it works for now.....

Oh, by the way, that pod needed some custom work if anyone was wondering. The clock mount has no mount and the hole was too small. I had to go buy a dremel and cut it, then hot glue it on.

looks good dale!

i like what you did with the ic spray lol!

i would definitely paint the mesh black or take it off completely and install a splitter! i'd suggest painting the zero/sports pod but that thing is $$$!!!

Thanks nhat!

Yeah that IC spray was an idea that actually worked and only took me like 15 minutes.

I was trying to install the stock splitter, but I couldn't get it to work. It hits on the backside of the scoop. The Seibon scoop is a little longer and a little forward from the stock one.

lol @ the ghetto ic spray. whatever works though haha. The hood is a little too much but if you remove the mesh and get some nice wheels and slam it, it will look tons better.

I have the same hood almost, but on the bugeye. I could never get it to look right. Except with the stock scoop?

Is teh scoop removable? It looks cheesy. Maybe its the SILVER. I never liked mine.
That scoop will probably tear to pieces in a few weeks driving (like mine) without some sort of diffuser from the highway speed wind. I would just put your stocker back on file the sides until the turd pops on there.

I think it looks a lot better with the stock scoop and CF. Plus CF is used for weight management.........that CF scoop is probably headier than the stocker anyway.

edit: After a re-reading sorry for my rants. But i hated the CF scoop on mine.

paint that pod - looks awful gray. pm royalsti on iwsti for a pic of his painted defi pod....looks factory.

remove the mesh - doesn't look like it lets much air in at all. takes away from a cool hood.

get rid of the cheese IC sprayer

get rid of the cheese sticker...those belong on semitruck mudflaps only

get rid of the dealer log license plate frame

or ignore the above if you are trying to create redneck rice

he had no where else to mount the factory ic spray nozzle since the oem splitter wouldn't fit the hood scoop so he did it acquacow style!

Damn, is that plumbers strap used for your IC spray “bar”
You know home depot sells nice aluminum stock in varying gauges you might consider instead…

Actually the pod looks better than what it shows. The flash makes it look a lot lighter.

and DUH on the mesh and ic sprayers

Default Imho

1. Awesome looking CF Hood...The mesh grill on the hood scoop has gotta match the mesh on the front grill, otherwise your "feng shui" would be all f-d up! Spray paint it black to match or remove it entirely or maybe even use the same type of mesh for the 3-section front grill.

2. Gauage cluster by Zero sport...beautiful...gauges choice matches perfect with interior...The only thing I would of done was to spray paint the cluster to match the interior better...I think from the pic it looks like it already primed...now you have a tri-color dash!

3. As for the sticker goes...what can I say...I personally think it cheapens the car...and everyone here can vouch nothing for our subarus are cheap, so I would take it off. If you want to support or make people aware of your opinion...put something rare/something us subiest would know..."it is only known to those who know"...kinda attitude! Just a thought! BTW, take off breyers front tag frame...they arent paying you to advertise...maybe even bend your license plate and raise it up a little, so you are not blocking air going to your radiator!

4. TMIC water spray...I am jealous...that is a great idea...I want that...nice piece...nice work...it has purpose...How much, do you have a walk through and where did you get it?

Looking good...keep it clean and sharp!

that's the zero/sports gauge pod. it'll run you about $200. it's made to work with the factory clock.
