Default gauge install?

I've successfully installed (mostly) a mechanical boost gauge in my '07 wrx wagon. I havent hooked up the light yet, because id like it to be dimmable with the rest of the instruments. Can anybody tell me wich wires to tap into for this...?

If you got the OEM Lamco gauge it should have a harness that you plug into a free harness behind the radio.

If it's not the Lamco but still dimmable (the Prosports are NOT), pry your radio out and hunt back there for a purple (I think) and black wire going to a small harness. Black is ground.

If they aren't dimmable, just find any 12v source that isn't battery and hook them up.

Aside from that, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1036365

It's an autometer pro-comp. Not sure if its dimmable or not...but thanks for the info.
