Nice cars!

legaliztik2001 - I especially dig the grille and all the JDM stuff. Who is your JDM source? I want projector headlights BAD and I can't get 'em from anybody around here.

sybir - nice! clean. I was thinkin' it;d be cool if you painted the black part of the bumper to match the rest. I'd look nicer and cleaner.

GusS - Sweet. My brother has that same car and I used to have one too (sold it to him). What kind of wheels are those? They remind me of S8 wheels. Cool.

My car isn't really bling, but it's clean . I just photoshopped some tint into the windows in anticipation of my next mod. here it is.

subarugt - Are those the WRX wheels or the UK 17's you got on there?

legacy777 - Your ride looks damn good, paint and body looks perfect. Must be when Subaru was using better paint

AK Subie those are the UK 17's. They are my summer wheels, and I am kind of missing them now, but they are all snug for winter for a while

AKSubie: Yeah it looks very good for its age and mileage. I've taken pretty good care of it....but I guess I'm anal like that....hahaha.

The paint is so so. I have seen worse, but it is a little thin feeling, and there are certain spots where it's a little splotchy.

But the big thing I can contribute to the shine of the car is the zymol.

That stuff is absolutely amazing. It's not the easiest to put on, and takes a little more time, but if you follow the steps, you will be absolutely amazed.

They recommend usin the HD Cleanse, which is a cleaner type stuff, then apply the wax.....I say wax...but it's a polish.

You gotta get the good stuff, not the stuff in the local autoparts store. The cheapest "good" stuff is around 30 bucks a bottle. They tell you to refridgerate it after opening too It has enzymes or something that react with air, so it has an O-ring to seal the container.

www.emmonscoachworks.com is probably the best place to buy it.

Monovich:

Thanks for the comments bro ... it really pays off to hear compliments about the ride especially since that Legacy is not a usual and popular platform in the import scence in N. Am. ImportFest was great exposure and I turned a lot of heads at that show!!

As far as JDM ... yes, it's very difficult to obtain anything that is JDM ... source? no source at all, just luck with friends who have friends in Japan ... eBay is always a resource plus there are a couple of posters here in the club that sell JDM parts occasionally ... good luck on that though ...

Projector lights? Still on a search for those or even Morettes ... still deciding ...

that's it for now ...

Trust me.....if you try it.....you'd never use anything else it's absolutely amazing........plus that's not the most expensive stuff zymol has. They have a wax that cost $1000, and refillable FREE for LIFE! However, unless you have a ferrari, or some exotic car with a $30,000 paint job....you wouldn't notice a difference.

Thanks The driving lights I have are the Catz XLO's, I think they were around $140-160 range....don't remember exactly. I got them from a local speed shop when I was goin to school in PA. Check out Catz website www.fet-usa.com

I removed the the metal piece that is in the front of the car that extends the underside lip of the bumper. I just drilled pilot holes into that (it's metal), then screwed them into place. You can also use the sticky backing....but I opted not to go over a bump and loose $140 driving light because some damn sticky tape didn't feel like holding. Only crap part about mountin, there is no side to side adjustment. So you better have that thing aligned to the T, mark, measure 4 times before you drill the second hole. The right one points just a hair off to the right a little more then it should, but it's not that bad.

I got the hyper white ones. So it's a pretty white brilliant light. I'll try and take some pics...not sure when....in the process of moving and such. Yes they are bright mofos, I can drive with just them on, and no headlights, and it's no problem.

My only complaint is this. The way the reflector is setup, the top and bottom portion of the reflector also reflect light and shine a small beam upwards and downwards. Well during bad weather, fog, snow and such....that beam shines straight up, and catches quite a bit of glare. But for normal driving during night, they throw a lot of light. They are driving light, not a fog light. You may want to check out to see what sort of other models Catz has. They are good company, and usually a little cheaper then PIAA, but have the same quality in lighting.

I did some custom mounting with the switch and used just a standard toggle and did not follow their instructions, so you can only use them when your parkin lights are on.

Check out my site www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/subaru.html I've got pretty much same info about the lights in my mod section, check out the pics section, you can see the switch and what not.

I've got 'em rigged up to my alarm too....I can turn them on and off with the remote

Yeah, I thought it looked like yours too. You just gotta get those side-spats, lower it a bit, and paint the black trim to body color.

sweet!
