Default 2006 OBP STi tasteful mods.

Well it has come time for me to part ways with the car I love so much. Spent a lot of time and effort into buying this car and turning it into the little rocket it is now.

Car was bought new in January of 2006.

Just turned to 48,000 miles.

Royal Purple and K&N Oil Filter every 3000 miles. By myself or my uncles shop depending on weather/time. But I made sure to always have it done at 3000.

Car was Stock until 25,000 miles.

25,000-40,000 were Cobb Stage 2.

40,000-48,000 were the newest FP Green setup.

Transmission and Rear Diff oil changed at 36,000 by dealer.

Currently Tuned By TDC Tuning at around 20 psi on 93pump(spikes to 22 then drops to 20 for a nice torque spike ) Made 320hp/340tq. Their dyno was undergoing software changes but he said it was very good numbers on nice safe tune as it is my daily driver.

Car exteriorly has is daily driver blemishes.
1)Rock chips on the front end seeing as its a new england car.
2)Rear bumper was scuffed by my girlfriends car rolling forward in the driveway Most of it could be buffed out by a professional.
3)Minor scuffs on the bottom of the front bumper(cars lowered its hard to prevent.
4)The dreaded FMIC cutting of the front bumper, ya I'm no body work major or specialist. Its not terrible, needs a good sanding to rid of the unpainted plastic.
5)Slight ding on front fender(like a hail dent from a pebble type ding, nothing huge could have my paintless dent guy remove it)

Mechanically-
Car runs great. Tune is awsome and was hoping to try it out at the dragstrip but never got around to it. Had an issue with the oil light comming on which was straightened out at the dealer due to a factory defect on the oil pickup. Only mechanical that is comming due within the new 10,000 miles would be just brake pads. They have about 30% left on them. I never abused them or tracked the car besides 2 or 3 nights at the dragstrip when i was stage 2 and only made 10 passes combined.

Goods-
Runs great
Looks awsome
New tires
Fresh oil change
Ready to auto-x or road race
Interior was sprayed and is water/stain resistant! If there is a stain the dealer will professionaly clean it or otherwise order a new seat or carpet whatever it is.
Undercoating applied.
Paint coating applied. Prevents acid etching and other harmful effects.
CAR WAS GARAGED ITS ENTIRE 48,000 MILES. ALWAYS in my HEATED garage at the house when not being driven. I was afraid to leave it anywhere so I never took it out if I was not comming home.
Bottom end is basically brand new. Warrantied by the dealer because the oil pick up cracked in the pan. Factory defect. Everything was inspected and replaced as needed.
Also while in the shop for the motor rebuild I paid for a 30,000 mile service as I was planning to sell so I wanted everything good to go.

Bads-
Brake pads possibly, dealer looked at them and said they have a good amount of life left. Which also shows I don't really abuse the car, 48,000 stock clutch and brakes with plenty of life left.
Minor exterior blemishes as mentioned above, nothing major as you can see.

Modifications-
Fp Green 2.4" Inlet, IWG, 7cm Exhaust Housing, Oil cooled
Perrin Signature Series Front Mount Intercooler
Perrin Turbo Inlet
Perrin Modified Stock Injectors
Perrin Big MAF intake
GM Boost Control Solenoid
Maddad Essentials Catless 3" Downpipe
Maddad Full 3" Whisper Catback Exhaust(BRAND NEW!)
Falken 255 Azenis Tires (only about 10,000 on them like new!)
Autopower Bolt In Rollbar with Spray on Bed Liner
Sparco 4 Point 3" Competition Harness
BC BR Coilovers(about 10,000-15,000 on them)
Maddad Ultra Gauges Boost,EGT,Oil Press(just got them so the only one hooked up is boost!)
Kartboy Rear diff support/outrigger bushings(brand new just installed like 20 miles on them!)
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Extras or options-
I still have the stock downpipe and catback.
Still have the stock Boost control solenoid.
A'PEXi Gt-Spec Catback (had on the car and bought used but switched to maddad to try something more stealthy)
I have the stock struts if you dont feel like youll want coilovers I will swap them prior to sale.

This car is modified. Not heavily and not beat on. We all know why people buy these cars, to have fun and go fast! Many of my friends or local members know I dont abuse the car. I'm not swimming in money so I dont want to have to fix things. As you can tell my stock clutch has withstood a good amount of power and does not slip at all.

Car has the Subaru Gold Extended Warranty or whatever they call it, the 6 year 80,000 mile warranty. It is not red flagged in the system for mods or anything as I just had the motor rebuilt under warranty for a factory defect.

ASKING PRICE- LOWERED!

$26,000 or Best Reasonable Offers.

Please PM me with any questions you may have or respond here.

Car is in Fitchburg,MA and can be viewed in person if need be.

Shipping of the car can be arranged assuming you have a carrier in mind and we can arrange some sort of deal(im pretty easy going and open to anything!)

Looking to get rid of the car pretty soon, winters comming and I had to reprioritize life and I am now in need of a work truck. I already have it picked out and on hold. If this doesn't go here its most likely going to a dealer to sell for more so pick this up now if your interested! Most dealers are selling this for $27,500 + many in the $28,000 range.

Pictures-(most recent have a silver wingless trunk on the car, was going to have it painted but I put my winged trunk back on. If interested feel free to ask me about that!

thanks....it definately gets a lot of looks...

ive put up with a lot of **** to get it where it is....i love it to death but its just the commong problem of the car not being practical for some people....in my case i got rid of my truck bought this and i kinda of need to get back into a truckk....

its been a ton of fun even just daily driving, i dont even have to beat on it....partiall throttle is where most of the fun is.....just takes a little push and a little boost.....

everyone thats driven my car is amazed....

buddy of mine has a big turbo built block 01 cobra and used to have an sti and drove this the other day and loved it....

another buddy has a fully restored chevelle with a built motor and built tranny and he loves the car....

even with the 255's you can get this thing sideways with a little throttle....its loads of fun and reliable.....i would say this isnt for a first time sti owner....its smooth and tame power but you really get moving without knowing it!

i mean guys with 12 second srts, evos etc.. that im friends with get in my car and their like whoah this things actually got some nuts.....which proves i dont really beat the car or anything and try to race buddies they never reallly know wat kinda fun it is till i give them a little full throttle...it will definately run solid 12's at the track all day....i was planning on doing meth injection next and maybe ewg and shooting for 11's.....

Ive scared some people taking corners way faster than they ever thought, effortlessly too. With the coilovers on half stiff, low stance, 0 camber front and rear, 255 azenis, and outrigger bushings this things solid....no need to upgrade anything else suspension wise.......

The car might just stay at the dealer after its fixed im trying to work a deal to have them just buy it off me.....if your that interested they would definately take your car in trade and then you could finance the car....i know the sales guys so im pretty sure i could make something decent happen for you or anyone local or thinking about buying.....

North End Subaru in Lunenburg,MA.

If your serious I will be there Wednesday talking with the tech after they check through the engine. Then i'll be giving the ok to go through the list of whatever service needs to be done. After that I can sit and talk with the Sales Manager about a potential buyer with a wrx trade in. They like to take WRX's and STi's in trade because used ones are probably the easiest to sell. I havent seen a used STi last more than a week there!

If you'd like to PM me a phone number I can get a hold of you at or give my buddy in sales and he can call and give you the whole speel.

Thanks Jeremy.

Was fun while it lasted. Just can't keep it. I have always been more of a truck guy. My gf was actually pretty happy I wanted to go back to a truck.

I'll end up back in an 09 Sti probably tho once i get out of school and get a full time job

Whoever buys this should definately consider having Blkscooby road tune it!

Thanks a lot!

I really put a lot of effort into the maintainence into the car.....my only mistake was my tuner choice....which proved to be detrimental to the motor....

anyways motors basically going to be like new....having a base tune done on it when I get it back and then I will pay for a full tune for the new owner...

placed a deposit on my new truck...

looking to get a solid buyer for this within the new week or so....

car should be out of the shop hopefully by the end of the week if not, the begining of next....

Autopower 4 Point Race Version. I believe it is SCCA approved. I did not run the car so I wouldnt have any first hand experience with that.
