Where to get 04/05 reverse hood scoop???

I must suck at searching because I have seen tons of pictures of the reverse hood scoop for the 04/05 WRX or STI hoods but cannot figure out where to purchase it???

I know where I can get the CF one but I want to get one unpainted because it will be cheaper.

I am talking about this reverse scoop:

It's the Aerosync reverse hood scoop.

Well, when you have a FMIC the stock scoop becomes fairly useless. So this reverse scoop eliminates drag that the stock scoop creates and allows more heat to escape from the engine bay.

So with a FMIC the reverse scoop is more functional than a stock scoop.

Well I understand that, but the silver imprezza on the track (pic above) doesn't look to have a fmic - at least from what i can see in the picture above... Didn't know if this was a "cowle" like scoop that was functional

Yeah, you are correct. If that was a WRX or and STI that would NOT be a good idea. But I'm pretty sure the silver car is an RS. At least I hope it is.

Yeah, I saw that post but it was back in 2006. I e-mailed gruppe-s about it and I haven't heard anything back yet.

Wouldn't hurt, those guys are supposed to be really good to work with.

Also, for the scoop being useless with an FMIC....that's not true at all. It doesn't have the "directed airflow" to the TMIC obviously since there isn't one, but any vented hood will help reduce under-hood temps fairly significantly (wether or not it's a stock scoop or the reverse style).

I don't think there are many manufacturer that make FRP verison still.
Only thing that come to mind is Seibon.

TMIC temps will still be a lot higher with reverse cowl since the air its getting is coming through the radiator and off the engine then UP through the cowl instead of being force-fed nice cool air by the "birdcatcher"

RS with STI hood. I am getting sick of the look, and I love how this reverse scoop looks.
