Default I need to know how many light-colored Mercedes are on the road in Southern California

Does anyone know where online there might be such data available? I called Mercedes but their office closes at 5PM EST. I have trouble finding any car stats online besides accident statistics. Help would be seriously appreciated.

This has to be one of the strangest requests of the OT I have ever witnessed.

Now for the serious answer.
I'm not sure you will find the data that you are looking for, as there really isn't any way to measure it. DMV records "might" help a little...
You could possibly sit on a bridge, and count all of the cars you see, then determine how many fit your threshold, then average it???

There is absolutely no way to measure this. You would have to account for far to many variables. The best you could hope for is a ballpark average.

Cop: "What are you doing on this bridge, sir?"
OT Weirdo: "Counting light colored Mercedes, determining how many fit my threshold, and then averaging it."
Cop: "I see..." [reaches towards his belt]
OTW: "DON'T TASE ME, BRO!"

Brilliant! And the number changes every second... There are of course more on the road at 5 pm than at 5 am. And whats your definition of Southern California? What about those just passing through? Ones driving to Mexico would momentarily show up on your roads, never to be seen again. You have set yourself up for much fail.

Ok, I obviously mean registered in Southern California. Yes, it's an odd request - that's why I am having a difficult time finding the statistic.

well, if we all tell him how many light-colored mercedes WE'VE seen in Southern California, he can add that up.

Put me down for 2. I was there 3 years ago, and I'm pretty sure I saw 2 of them.

This shouldn't be that difficult. They do this sort of thing on tv all the time.
It only takes a few seconds.

ooh, double counting. Good point. From now on, every time you see a light-colored Mercedes in Southern California, spray paint a big X on the hood so we know it's already been counted.

I just painted a huge X on a Mayhbach, but maybe those dont count? The owner was angry! Even after I told him it was for science. Some people...
