Default Bent rims?

I found some nice rims that one of my freinds is selling for dirt cheap. They are 17x7 and are the color and style im looking for but 2 of the rims have small bends in them. I didnt even notice them untill he pointed it out.
Think i should get them or not? How do you think the bends will affect performance and ride? I plan on putting some badass tires with thick sidwalls on them, will this help?

You're in CT, there's a couple of good rim repair places out there (wheelcraft and precision in new haven). I used Precision to fix a set of Team Dynamic Monza's. It's like $100/rim though, so it may not be worth it if the rims are just your generic ADR/Motegi/American racing rims...

Also, if you really want the rims and he's selling it for almost free (like mine was), then yeah it may be worth looking into repairing.

Bends in aluminum can usually mean CRACKs... i would look closely or much closer than what you did... I mean it is YOUR life riding on'em...
