Don't bother reading the thread or anything.

By the way, both Photoshop and mishap are single words...

OK for all of you that think this is Photoshop.... Its not.. I am better at PS than that..

I took the picture with my iPhone. All I can tell you is this car was a legacy with an STI style hood scoop, large fender flares and a short front bumper. The car had lots parts missing. (as if to keep it from being photographed in complete) The guy driving it was not to happy about me taking pictures.

So if you don't like the pictures to bad... I was just trying to give the suby community something cool to look at.

Now what you need to do is run him off the road. Maybe the hood will pop open and you can get some pics of what's in there.

It's weird that you're still questioning the damn rims distortion!

I saw this same car today on the 91WB near Serfas club drive. I drove beside him for a while so I could take pictures. The car is completely blacked out. All badges are taped over, the quad exhausts were cut shorter and the cutouts in the bumper was taped up to make it appear like it didn't have any exhaust. The guy driving it was an older gentleman, wouldn't look at me at first, then finally did and when I gave him the thumbs up he smiled and took of (def not diesel).

The front end was marked by the MY04-05 STI hood scoop which was jimmy-rigged to a thin sheet of sheet metal which was in turn riveted to the standard legacy hood. The whole thing flopped around including the thin sheet metal, it was funny actually.

Other things I noticed were flared fenders which were a matte black and the reg body pieces were a glossy black. However, one thing to note, THERE WERE NO DISTORTED RIMS ON THIS CAR!

So analyze this, why would this still be driving around Cali. Sure it could be a test mule for the upcoming STI, but that is a month from Debuting at LA so I doubt they would be using a leggy body. Second, why put on the flared fenders just to test a drivetrain? Seems like a little too much work to be testing a car debuting in a month here. DSG testing? Maybe, but I doubt it! Ok enough thought, check out the pics...

This is my first time posting pictures so I hope it works, if it doesnt will someone please host the pics for me!
