Default Winter Tire Question

I am planning on getting a set of winter tires for my 2006 WRX Sedan. I looked on some tire sites such as tirerack and I guess my stock tires are 215/45-17's. I got the best deal from Discount Tire Direct but they are offering me 205/50/-17's does size work fine with my stock wheels? The tire they are offering me are Hankook W300's in the 205/50-17 i just want to know if these will work fine?

Yes. They will fit. They are a bit taller than your summer tires, but that's better than being a bit shorter in winter. Your odo and speedo will be off by about 2%.
