Default Silver 2.5 RS Near Tuttle Exit in Columbus, OH

Whose Silver 2.5 RS did I see on the side of 270 near the Tuttle exit this past wednesday. I was going to stop to help but there was no one in the car. Hope everything is ok.

I'm new to the Columbus area (since Oct. 20th), do you all have meets or anything. I just saw the post about the Detroit Trip but I can't really make that.
Drop me a line and keep an eye out for a 2000 BRP 2.5 RS with yellow calipers and small Subaru stickers just above the front wheels....oh yeah I have an I-club sticker too, on the drivers side back window.

Thumbs up

Chris, welcome to Columbus. I've only been here since late September myself. In that time we have gone for a drive in Hocking Hills, had a meet at Speeds (an indoor karting track), and then went to the auto show in Detroit. So there haven't been numerous get togethers, but the ones that we have done were fun.

As far as the Silver 2.5, I only know of 2 silver ones. One is Nate (nhalterman) the other is an older lady that doesn't frequent the i-club. At least not that I have ever seen. Nates has stock wheels that are powder-coated or painted black.

Anyway, you might see some of us driving around every now and then, but there are also a lot of RS owners that don't ever acknowledge other Subaru owners existence here in Columbus. So just be aware of that. Right now the only thing going on is the Sno*Drift ProRally in Michigan next weekend. There will probably be quite a few Scooby owners there, but I think other than Ed (iceweazel) I am the only one planning on going from Columbus.

What part of town do you live in?

Hello Chris, and welcome to Columbus.

Glad to say it wasn't me on the side of the road. Although a flat would give me an excuse to ditch my ratty RE92s.

Keep an eye out here because we usually (thrice that I'm aware of) have planned events in this forum.

Welcome, feel free to make fun of the local wrx's and
join the hip gang of RS weenies.

Its not the most awesomely active gang around, but
theres some action, like Mike said.

Don't know whats up next, but I'd suspect another informal
trip to speeds so I can go DFL some more and rob can
blow up more engines!

Hey Nate, don't knock these totally-****ty re92s! They're perfect
during the summer for competely throwing the car around.

I guess that's a comment I would expect from a guy thats more comfortable driving sideways than pointing his nose where he's going.

I'm sure I'll thrash the hell out of um, before I'm down with um. Just as long as I don't lose a bead.
