Aspiring autocrossers, this is a great deal!

An old post from Greg Olsen:

When I hop in _some_ cars I can be even with Mike or Lee or whomever. But when I ran Sam's car at the last AI event, I was fully 2.8 seconds off him. I admit to being off and tentative as hell because of the history of the car, but still. Having ridden with Sam, Jr., etc.. an F-Body seems to _force_ you to really drive right and get everything out of it. The car doesn't help you out like a rally car or a BMW, and so you can't use it as a crutch. Look at the long line of drivers that come out of pony cars and it's hard to argue - Ames, Daddio, Salerno, Jr, Sammy, Kozlaks, and on... And they can all jump in _any_ car and go sick fast.

P.S. I do need a ride for the last AI event, if anyone wants a codriver.

I have a special place in my heart for F-bodies, I've owned 3 (even though a lot of subaru owners refer to them as mullet cars... )... Good luck w/ your sale!

I own three cars, two of them LT1 Camaros. With the introduction of the Shelby GT into FS, I can't justify owning two Nationally uncompetitive cars, and if I take my green car to ESP (one possibility I'm exploring), I can't afford to prep the black one too.

It's still a fun car to drive, and I don't really want to sell it. But it's just sitting there collecting dust right now, and unless I make one of the cars into a dedicated track car (which is also a possibility), I don't really need it. And I can't bear to part with my green car.

Still for sale.

This is the car. The checkerboard pattern on the hood in the picture was simply made with magnets.

The wheels that are on the car aren't the street wheels either. The street wheels are the OE five-spokes.

Some more pictures of the car in action. It's the black LT1 car, #48.
