Default Tirerack says 15" wheel will fit 06 wrx

So i went through the build your own winter package and tirerack says that the sport edition e3 wheels in 15x6 will fit on a 2006 wrx. Does anyone think this is just a mistake on there part. My buddy at bell tire tried to get them for me and there system said they dont fit?

I'm 99% sure 15" wheels won't clear the WRX brakes, whether they be 2 or 4 pot.

Yes, the 15" alloys on the tire rack WILL clear 4-pots.

There's numerous threads on them here, pics and everything! Guys using them as winter wheels and rally wheels.

Note, they will NOT clear the 02-05 2-pot WRX fronts, just the 4-pots on the 06+.

Your profile says 04, again, if that's true and you don't have the 4-pots, you're out of luck.

If you do though, enjoy!

15" rally wheels can fit the 2002-2005 WRX brakes... But you gotta grind down some parts of the caliper. I'm sure there's a write up somewhere...

Those 15x6 wheels on tirerack are a ET45 offset. With the narrow 6" wheel, isn't that bad for the wheel bearings?

I'd have to dig up posts, but yeah, people here have had wheel bearings go bad and it appeared it was a combination of the wrong offset and the application.
