2nd on the sound clips, that would be sweet!

This is the same H6 project that is mentioned in the "Subaru performance builders guide" right?

I'm curious, because the intake manifold in those pics make the H6 look as though it could support a roots/twin screw SC setup without much trouble (unless you count hood clearance). I bet it would sound pretty slick and make exhaust piping a little easier.

just a thought.

Thanks that was very educational. It's nice to see something original and new. It seems like Subaru's 4 cylinder engines have remained basically the same since the 80's.

I'm wondering every day, why no options! Many 3.0r owners want some power via turbocharging, but since 2005 there has not been a single vendor making a turbo kit for this engine!
We like power on this engine under a legacy hood so we should not think of $$$$.
I hope we could find a turbo kit after 3 yrs from now : (
