Unhappy rock chips everywhere

i haven't really got a chance to wash my car since it started snowing. i kind of had a idea that my paint was chipped to crap so i've been putting since i can't see them when its covered in salt and dirt. finally washed the car today and there are chips all over the hood i was thinking about getting 6"-7" of 3m stone guard put on the hood. has anyone had any experence with this stuff? i don't know if it works or not.

I have heard that it works rather well. I wish I could give you a first hand answer. If you find out let me know.

I have it on my RS. Absolutely marvelous! Don't forget to get the hoodscoop, grille and mirrors done too. These are the next most susceptible spots to pick up chips. You won't regret getting the StonGard or 3M products.
