Default Tribeca winter set-up?

I have a set of rota torques which are 17x8 et48 and the oem rims are 18x8 et55.
The rims clear everything just fine(no tires mounted yet), but am I going to have any problems?

Will there be any steering issues or should it be okay?

if you can try to get some skinner tires like a 6.5 or 7, you dont want wide tires for the winter, and try to get a 16, you want a squishier sidewall for the winter check tire rack for great deals on 16x7s
