I thought the guys who did the snow trail last year got shoo'd away by a bunch of snowmobilers. Clutch broke after U-turn or pendulum 180?

Actually we didnt get turned around by the snowmobilers. They were upset but I said we have subies and do this every year. We all decided about the same time that the snow was too loose to go any further and we all turned around. Actually i backed almost all the way back out.

The clutch a$$ploaded after we got 50 yards up the road.

I didn't know you guys turned around. I can't wait for next trip, it was such a great time!

I was running on Tein coilovers and some all-season tires and had no problems.

yeah, it got to the point where we were just fighting to keep moving without drifting off the trail. we decided it wasn't really even fun, and since we were maybe 10% of the way in, we decided to leave. we also learned that no cars were allowed, which we hadn't seen a sign for on the way in.

Billy is just entertainingly Billy.

Ted, was your car set up really stiff or cambered for track,
or am I just mis-remembering how you cornered in snow ?

In other news, the VIP discount works, and I have an additional Subbie on order. Thanks for the hook up.

Yeah, really stiff suspension is not going to be your friend in the snow.

I thought the route for this year's run had already been laid out?.. Or is it still being made up as we go?

Pay no attention to trenton. He was a little loopy from the accident. The logistics of getting everyone over the border and back is too great. The route will be basically the same as last year,

I'm a little disappointed we aren't going to make it to Canada this year, but I understand how the logistics would be a nightmare.

On the bright side of things, at least we have the GPS coordinates already laid out..

Nice little bit in Drive Performance - and nice shot of Jesse's Legacy (in Pine Barrens I beleive?)

I hope we run into some actual snow this year. I know that last year was my first trip, but it seemed like there was a lack of the white stuff.

We had a whole lot of snow on the trail, too deep and unpacked.

^^ At least you didnt break anything trying. The year before last it was perfect on the trail, even a lil more snow would have made it better.

Nice talking to you last year.
