I ride the roadie rarely, but mountain biking is my new fun time killer. Some of us ride at MP and the Anthills on the weekends.

I ride road and trail but Im a slow n00b. Whenever I go to clear lake I see about eleventy billion cyclists, so it shouldnt be to hard to find some people to ride with down there.

Me and the guys I'm riding with signed up for the bike barn team. it cost $75 though, but they give you a jersy and feed you at a private tent in lagrange

I am. I put in about 150-200 miles a week on my road bike, and occasionally ride my mountain bike.

Milin, what parts do you need for the SS build-up?

BTW, Team Bike Barn is full.

We spotted a silver Bugeye wagon last night on our ride with a TXIC decal when we were riding along allen parkway. I really need to jump out there one morning and map out a longer route. 10 miles isn't cutting it for myself!

Sarah seems to dig the pedals.

The pace I set, though, not so much. She's in the gym doing leg presses now. She wants to beat me

Subpreza, I can ride sometime during the week next week if ya want. I'm not terribly fast.

Curt, for the SS, I'm not sure what I want quite yet. I'm going to do a little research on some other people's SS builds to get some ideas.

I ride all the time..training for MS150, but Ive been riding my track fixed gear for the last few weeks. They are so fun to ride. If you want a long route I do the Terry Hershey/ GB Park from Fry Rd to BW8 (roundtrip is 35mi) and free from cars.

I did that for the first time last week. Its a nice ride as long as its not during peak hours. On saturdays or after work I wouldnt go east of eldrige on a bike.

I'm using specialized mondo. If I were to chg tires it would be to michelins bc they were tested as having the lowest rolling resistance. Real popular in my old club, tokyo cycling club.

I would recommend Continental GP 4000 or Vredestein Tri Comp tires. They roll fast, they grip well in corners, and have good flat protection (high thread count).
