Default Good place for Tranny work in WA?

So my clutch looks like its about to be on its last leg of its life. To me this means its about time to throw some PPG's in there while I'm at it. Now what I need to find out is where I can entrust my suby to get PPG's installed. I'm looking for a place preferably in Kitsap county, but if I have to go to the other side of the Puget so be it. Any thoughts from people who have PPG's would be welcomed too. Setup I'm thinking about is Straight cut 1&2 helical 3-4 stock 5-R in syncromesh box. Not too sure what clutch and fly wheel to get.

The only 3 places I'd trust would be W1, PIA, or Smartservice.

PIA being the closest, and pretty much a hands down answer for any subaru service work. You have your answer right there. They are having a meet today, you should stop by and meet them.

+1 for www.smart-service.com

who did excellent work when i lost a tooth off of my main shaft in my WRX....
few days time I had a rebuilt gearbox
1.5 years later it's as reliable and still going strong in a full on race car.

Don't go anywere in Kitsap County. In addition to the above, I would add Cascade Autosports in Northbend, or PDX in Portland. Personally, I'm a PDX person myself. They have treated me well many times over.

I've found that there is a lot of Tranny work along Aurora Ave. Just make sure you wrap it up!

They're down on 65th near Marymoor park just off of East Lake Sammamish Pkwy.

Haven't you figured out that their service department is a bunch of douches yet? Geesh. If you need clutch replacement and want to stay in Kitsap, send me a PM. I know a great mechanic here. If you want something big, like tranny rebuild, then go with one of the listed peeps in the thread.
