Default cel

Me wrx has 15k miles. A week ago, I got n2 my car, and my cel came on. When I took in to the dealership, the service people asked if I ever used anything other than premium fuel, and reset the ecu. Last night after I filled my tank up, I start driving, and when my rpm needle hits the 5 in 2nd gear my engine lurches like it had hit a rev limiter. It did this on two other occassion before my cel light came back on. Now I am concerned. I know honda, I've had 2 different acuras. This is my subie, and I have never had anything like this happen in the past. Any ideas on what would cause my car to lurch like it has hit it's rev limiter?
As far as the fuel goes, my car is pampered. I spend an extra money to buy my own synthetic oil, but then put cheap gas in my car - I don't think so.

You need to find out the code that the dealership pulled the first time.
