Default wastegate actuator spring

I didn't get much help when i tried to get suggestions for a new wastegate actuator. My tuner suggested i get one because my car wouldn't hold past 15psi. I decided to get a forge wastegate actuator. with nothing to go on for a spring size when it came down to it i asked for a 12 lb spring. they said that the spring that comes with it is adjustable 8 to 15 lbs. i tell him i currently can't hold more than 15 lbs and that i'm shooting for more like 18-19. He suggests a yellow spring which i try and the car easilly boosts into the 20's. So does any one know what psi the yellow spring is? I want the ability to run safe on only wastegate boost if at all possible.

i had it as unloaded as i could make it, it was a tight fit. and it jumped to like 22 psi in second (i have an auto) it probably would have made more. Oh well i gues i'll just wait till i can get it tuned, i just wanted to adjust the wastegate to like 12 to 15 and just run without the solinoid till i could get it tuned. it seems way too stiff ,but maybe they can adjust it better.

FWIW I am running an AVO 15psi actuator with the stock BCS. Once tuned achieving target boost is a breeze. Reduced WDC by half. Lots a room left if needed.

Good luck...

Iam hitting 17 psi with the stock parts but there ported.
Was unable to make it until it was ported. The waste gate arm is all the way tight.
I am road tunned. open ecu

Talk to your tuner NOT us as wastegate tuning is in his domain and any advice we give you is contrary. Your tuner should know what is up and what will/will not work.

As per Forge's data:

Green - 5-10 PSI
Yellow - 10-15 PSI
Blue - 14-18 PSI
Red - 19-24 PSI

I have the last two, just didn't have time to install it
