More bad accident news

Well my vision is getting worse. Went to the eye doc today.

Left eye is done. The optic nerve was damaged. The eye looks great but I cant read

So fun times ahead.
Off to the neurologist again.


So can you all post on the right side on the threads so I can read it

I was rear ended on bell rd. I was at a red light. She never hit the brakes. Was jugded she was travling 45-50 mph

On a second note. My drivers seat also broke. If anyone out there owns a TR **** can the seats ASAP. Doctor also thinks part of my problems came from my drivers seat failing.

I just want my life back more then anything. this has not been fun by anymeans. Loosing my job,my back and neck, now my eye sight in one eye, Its not worth anything out there, I dont wish this on anyone.

I'm still glad I was not on my motorcycle that day. I would be dead....

So legitimately your left eye is shot? Or just unable to read stuff without glasses?

I myself have biased vision, to the right side. My left optic nerve is underdeveloped/not fully connected so I see more out of my right eye than my left! To top that off my prescription is ****-tacular +5.50 left eye +4.50 right eye.

So thats my story.

If you don't already have a lawyer, get one for reals, especially if you're going to sue.

left eye is shot. I cant even read the eye chart. I was tested in november had perfect vision. Day of accident in the ER I could read to line 6-7 eye test chart. Last week was tested again. could only read down to line 2, Today couldnt read top line.. (left eye) Right eye is perfect. So within 35 days left went from good to bad. If you push on the back of my neck lightly I get blurry vision. My left eye has hurt ever sence getting hit that morning.

He tried to get a corrective lens spec, The machine wouldnt go that far out. I have lost 4 fields of vision, my left side vision is gone too.


So this is me for now on I guess
I was told once that nerve fails its not repairable. Even the blindness.com website I have been reading all day states the same thing. A few people stated on that sites board after a rear ender they lost vision in a eye.

I'm still trying to take all this in. I guess I wont look half as bad anymore

Ahh man that sucks!! I know how those acciedents go.. I lost all feeling on my left side of my face for 2-3 weeks, and still have issues with feeling on the side of my head

I hope there is something they can do for this, I couldnt even imagine Loosing an Eye!! I wish you the Best!!!

I just got done moving the furniture around the house. I think next I'll take the car to have those back up warning sensors but all the way around the car. After that I might read a book by helen keller....

**** all I can do is try and laugh about it least til tomorow. I'm sure I'll freak out after that. So I'll just enjoy my day today as much I can.

This is one prime reason why everyone should support stem cell research. Stem cells can be used to replace/rebuild damaged nerve cells. Seek out a specialist.
