He is one of my favorite drvers. He's always seemed nice personable and enthusiastic. He definetly deserves his Wins at Lemans.

I want to know what the two buttons are!!!!

Shall we theorize?

Considering I don't know regulations I may be way off. I think they may be something like tire pressure control or suspension setting adjustments.

His English better than I thought it was. Usually when I hear him, I can barely understand what he's saying. Or maybe it's Dindo Cappello that I have a real problem understanding.

I can't believe they don't have drinks in those thing. I would figure for endurance racing they would CERTAINLY have a drink in there! Add in that shincracking steering wheel and WOW... Audi is brutal!

Marshall, dude, you've gotta do more of this stuff next year, and MAKE SURE IT GETS ON THE AIR! I like the F1 segments with Matchett showing the technology behind those cars, I want to see the technology in LMP cars! Absolutely awesome video, guys!

Noooo good job Marshall !! Anyone can hold a camera...its asking the good questions and getting the subject to do the things and talk about the things that the PR person is jumping up and down in the background NOT to talk about....that is hard....(.lol). Even though I am still a super newbie in this field....working with Marshall is the BOMB. A real pro, and a walking book of motorsports knowledge. Not all the media guys are kool and personable, but Marshall is and as you walk thru the paddock it shows. I have some nice things happening next year for me as a driver that would NOT have happened if it werent for Marshall and these opportunities with Speed. He is the man.

I'd love to meet THAT Marshall guy--sounds a lot different than THIS Marshall. Just ask my wife!

We'll have lots more great ALMS content next year--can't wait for Myles and THAT Marshall to get back to it in 2008.

I shot about 2hrs each at many of the events and if I did a recap edit...it would be mega, but also too long to sit thru as well. Its a thought. But most will be saved for the future.

As Marshall said...wait til next year, we have some awesome things planned with ALMS and Speed.

Yeah I heard that at the last race which is a wonderful thing.

I just hope it carrys through for 09,10,11,12 etc.

There was already talk of some teams heading over to ALMS from both of those series if I recall.

Well the PR lady from Audi was off camera and you could just "feel" the instant resistance to where he was going with it.

The thing about alot of the top drivers(IMO) is most are super kool. ,...but not all. We had done a interview with a un-named ex Indy driver and I saw him like 5 minutes later in the paddock in one of those " there is no way to NOT speak to this person" kinda situations and he looked "thru" me..as I spoke to him and he said nothing back and was kinda like.."WOW". Granted I know if you are off pace by .0000589 as a pro driver then yeah you arein deep thought....but so many do it all....as in smile, speak , joke etc..and still have alot on their minds. So Pirro , and many others really get my vote for being really kool cats. Guy Smith, another kool cat who is just like your next door neighbor....except he is in the Mulsanne Club I call it. Meaning you have not only made it thru yoiur first night practice at LeMans 24 hrs, but WON there. Super nice guy( no pun).

I think the cub reporter segments on the ALMS races are really great. It's cool seeing these guys goofing around having fun and just being normal people. I'm betting it's from the lack of competition in their class, but Ollie Gavin and Olivier Beretta always seem to be two of the most laid back, cool, relaxed drivers out there. I'm not a big Corvette fan, but those two are some of my favorite drivers.

Maybe you could do a segment to help humanize McNish. The interviews you see with him are usually him being a very angry Scot
