Question 2008 WRX Tires

The 2008 WRX uses a tire size that is not available in many of the popular tire choices. Any recommendations, since the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S and the Toyo Proxes 4 do not seem to be available in 205/50R17? I can't afford new rims + tires, so I need a good set to replace the RE92's that STILL come with the cars.

Based on what I read above, the choices seem limited to Yokohama Advan S4 or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I've never used either. Any preferences? Both are a lot more expensive than the Pirellis or Toyos.

Since your wheel size is the standard Subaru 17x7, you should be able to fit a 215/45-17 tire on there with no problems. There are plenty of tires to pick from in that size.

Actually the 2008 tire size is 205/50R17 and there are 59 choices at the Tire Rack. A 225/45R17 would also likely fit and maintain close to the same diameter.
