Just wanted to comment on my experience with Farrish, and A.K. in particular -
I picked up my '08 Forester XT sport yesterday afternoon, after a smooth and no-pressure couple days working with A.K. I was surprised (and pleased!) when, after a quick test drive and chat about numbers upon my first visit, there was no 'hang on a couple minutes, my sales manager wants to talk to you' and 'what can we do to get you in this car today' sort of garbage. I told A.K. I was going to look into financing and talk to my wife, we shook hands, and I left - I thought it was a classy way to handle the customer relationship.
I secured financing, went back to Farrish a couple days later, and finished all the paperwork. My car was cleaned, washed and ready the following day, and I picked it up.
I felt A.K. gave me a fair deal, got me a good value on my trade-in, and also threw in free oil changes for as long as I have the vehicle (which my wife thought was amazing). He was friendly, professional, and straight up about numbers and value. I would highly recommend Farrish, and A.K. specifically, to anyone in the NoVa area thinking of buying a Subie.
