Default Early Sunday run to Bagdad

My brother has been hunting for, and finally found a decent 1997 Acura NSX, so we decided to stretch its legs with a run this morning. We hit I-17 to 74, over to 60, through Wickenburg to 95, then 96 over to 89, down Yarnell Hill and back to Phoenix.

We had a great time, spotted only a couple cops and surprized my brother by out running him from 30 to 100, a couple times! Above 100 it was a different story, the Suby just does not cut the wind like the NSX.

Anyways, here are a couple pics...

both cars are great. I've always loved NSXs. BTW those chrome wheels look unique on your car!

97 is the year to buy -- all the major refinements were made that year! I love the exotic looks the NSXs' have, what a great ride!
I dig the chrome on the WRX as well, nice drop too! I love your wagon, thing looks mean.

... I now officially hate your brother.

Someone at my company has a 2004 Voltage Blue one, it's there every few days or so. I cry a little on the inside every time I see that car whilst its keys are not in my possession.

And that is where you went wrong.

You should have left that part out.

Awesome! Looks like you guys had a great run.
Great stretch of roads through there!
Unfortunately, Magazines have been making a big deal of the roads and bringing them to a more public eye. They have become crowded.

I'll be the first one to say that doing something stupid on a public road, then admitting it on the internet, isn't the best of plans. But Christ, that's what mods (and OT) are for... the douchebags that go through other regional forums looking for someone to attack either (a) need to get laid, (b) need to join a gym or something, or (c) need to just figure out a better way to get out pent-up aggression.

I humbly suggest that you should only be allowed to post in a regional forum if you are, in fact, a member of that region.

Psuedo-back on topic: The blue NSX is in my parking lot again today. ungh.

... I can't do that. I've broken both ring fingers too many times.

I'm thinking I'm going to go check this one out: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/467866210.html

Only 62K miles, damn good price, and it's AWD!

It's all about the handling though - it's still a rapid car and carries itself well through the twisty stuff... Ayrton Senna helped develop the suspension

oh i know how well they handle and what went into their development. it was a general statement. i'd be perfectly happy with what they offer, stock except for the money they are going for nowadays(for something really clean).

A CompTech twin-screw supercharger would help out a bit.
