Will 235/40/17 RT615's fit 17x7.5 Rim

Just wht I posted above, I have gotten a ton of diffrent answers, Will a set of Falken RT615's in 235x40x17 fit on a set of Rota 17x7.5in rims?

I have the RT-615s in a 235/40/17 on Work Emotions 17x7.5 (offset +42, eeek!); they fit on the wheels just fine (not too much rubber pushing over the wheel lip, maybe 2-3mm over), some curbicide protection.

Don't know if you were asking about fender clearance, but the above setup fits my wagon. And since your wheels are prolly offset +48, and you have a sedan, you should be okay.
