1) Turn key to "ACC"
2) Click and un-click seatbelt 20 times in 30 seconds.
3) Take key out of ignition

Now every time you start your car, you'll get the initial 6 chimes but no more after that

Note: I always wear my seatbelt while driving but I just hate when my car is on with the e-break up and the chime just keeps going until you click your seatbelt in. Please wear your seatbelt while driving.

Compared with most I have not done much.

Debadged Trunk.
OEM splash guards.

OEM CD changer.
OEM Tweeters.
OEM Cargo net, added bottom plastic D shape holders, just like the top ones to keep net more secured.
OEM Cargo tray.

Added cargo light.
Plastic net protectors on rear window defogger and antenna wires.
Plastic tubing protectors on most wires in the engine compartment.
Seat belt + key in the ignition chime delete.
DRL are disabled.
Removed all stickers, minus the engine info. The tire pressure info was placed inside the arm rest console.

So for real, no lies? Sounds like one of "those, yeah tap the gas 20 times pull ebreak 3 times while 80mph and you gain 40mph!!". heh, not really.

Anyway, thanks a LOT. I'll definitely try this out. Do you know if and how it can be re-enabled if need be?

Also, how exactly did you find this out anyway?

There's about five NASIOC threads about it. Try searching "seat belt chime delete".

A couple little things i didnt mention about my car. I also have the wrx TR all weather flor mats and my trunk is debadged also. Everything except for the subaru emblem. And i have the wrx spoiler.

Next steps for my car are the spt lightweight flywheel and a perrin lightweight underdrive pulley. I just got my megan racing cat back put on like a week ago... really has a low rumble to it. Brings out the boxer sound nice.

So far, just fog lights. Whoever bought it initially added the MOMO shift knob.
Wondering about those OEM splash guards - are they worth it, or should I look for something else?
