i just picked up some 9 ich wheels. wont have them on for a few weeks. right now i'm running a 8 1/2 with a 43 offset and rub with 255 in the rear. i bet i will have to roll the fenders with the 9's to get the 255 on. will keep ya posted.

There is a thread on the subject already out there, Motorsports Forum.
The 255's are going to rub, good chance your car is really low, and or your not running enough rear camber. Good chance with the 9's they will rub also since both of your wheels have the same offset of 43mm Work emotions and XD9's right? You picked up .25 inches of wheel width, pulling the tire slightly with the wider wheel but really you will be in the same area im guessing within a few MM's. Having the car slamed does nothing for you. Ive seen the pic's from some WA meets.

i use 17x9,44mm,255/40,rear lip folded up-so 18x9,255/35 would work
