Looks like there are a bunch of nice mod 'guides' that we just posted recently (1/13/2002) over at http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/

heat gun, dental floss and some wd40...that's all u need to remove the lettering....u really don't need the heat gun, but it makes it way easier!
