Exclamation Getting Screwed by Subaru NA

Watch out!!!! I am putting this warning up on all the boards and forums I can find. I have been through two motors now, with no aftermarket parts on my 2004 STi. The first issue was a cracked piston sleeve on Piston 3, when the factory replaced my block there was an out of round Piston in cylinder 1. Since this **** up I have been to the dealership 30+ times, they won't replace my motor. I have entered a Lemon Law suit against Subaru North America. Subaru N.A. offered to settle for $2,500 and no new motor. So unless you can find a motor for $2,500 installed I am ****ED! Now I have very little resale value, I can't register my car in California because I cant get smog check with a check engine light, meaning I have to go in EVERY MONTH for temporary tags. WATCH OUT FOR SUBARU WARRANTY DIVISION BEFORE YOU END UP LIKE ME, A LEMON OF A CAR, NO RESALE VALUE. SUBARU DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOYALTY TO THEIR COMPANY, THEY DON'T GIVE TWO ****S. WATCH OUT. However, I am thinking about taking the money and going right back to the dealership and having them fix my car still, so any way Subaru looks at it they still have to replace my motor. Just really sucks to be treated like this, I am a die hard subaru fanatic.

I'M JUST POSTING THIS UP FOR ALL OF YOU GUYS TO READ! I once had a brand new 2005 Subaru 2.5RS, and after 30,000 miles, my rear windshield randomly exploded. I had the dealership look at it and check the car out and they said it was because the frame was stress twisted from a previous accident. This was odd because I bought the Car brand new from dealership. They replaced my car for free, with a brand new 2006 car and all the same stuff I had in my 2005RS. Sure it took a month of some talking with SOA, but they were awesome in the end, as well as my dealership who was probably the reason why I got the new car with their influence. I'M JUST POSTING THIS BECAUSE SOA ROCKS.

How can you go in every month? I thought you were only allowed one temp tag, then after that you're SOL.

your 2004 STi is probably 4 years old (think mine originally sold in May of 2003)

perhaps a more informative post describing your situation is in order.
you bought the car when?
new or used?
how many miles if used?
miles at time of failure, and date of failure?

etc, etc

oh, I see you joined today & posted this thread 3 times already.
enjoy your very brief stay.
crossposting is bad.
starting the same thread when you were locked is worse.
