Default 97 Lgt Tranny Project!!!

ok my tranny went out last year. it's just sitting in my garage right now and i got time on my hands to crack the tranny open to actually see what went wrong. I first need someone to tell me which side should i lay the tranny down before unbolting the bolts from the tranny. is there anything else besides the bolts to crack the tranny open? lmk asap as i'm planning to do this tomorrow. thx guys

I would suggest a post in the trans forum... you'll get a much better response, since the trans on all the Subaru's are fairly identical.
