Default First Timer at the Drags Manages an 11.91 @ 112 in his 2012 Stock Turbo STi

Event: Dyno Tuning / Drag
Location: Lebanon Valley, West Lebanon, NY
Ambient Temp: 85
Elevation: 1500ishh FT
Weather: sunny
Car: 2011 STi
Tuner: Mikey of PhatBotti Tuning
Tuned With: Cobb APv2 Speed Density
Dyno Info: Mustang
Transmission: 6spd
Gear: 4th
Peak HP at RPM: 350 @ 4700
Peak Torque at RPM: 449 @ 3600
Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: 220/220
Target Boost: 24 psi -> 14 psi
Target AFR: 12.0
Fuel: e85

Mods:

TBE / Invidia EL Headers / DW65C / TXS Intake / ID1000's / E85

I had the opportunity to get up to Lebanon Valley the other night wih my buddy John Gibbons. John had never been to a dragstrip before. I saw him driving his and other cars in a few YouTube videos and asked if he wanted to try for an 11 second pass on the stock turbo.

Eventually we'll have big plans for the car. Right now its just a fun daily with potential. I have to say this kid is a natural. Lebanon valey is a super slow track to boot. A 350Z buddy was down 6 mph from E-Town, and another WRX guy down about 3 MPH. More potential exists in the track, car, setup, and tuning as well. 12.6 -> 12.1 -> 11.9 Awesome for his first time

Car + Driver = 3525

This STI is slammed on 18 x 9.5 Wheels. I can't wait for a nice wheel / tire / suspension combo. Should be another mid 11 second VF CAR

Hope every one is having a great racing season, at the drags or on the road course!!

You're putting down some pretty good times!
My goal is 350whp and i want to stay with a TMIC and the stock turbo if possible but i wasn't sure if that was safe or not so I've been looking into aftermarket turbos and stuff but after reading this i might reconsider.

The launch control was set at 6 we kept playin with it. But tires gave up either we bogged or spun hard! Almost hit the tree one pass came out sideways! And no clutch smell at all man I was very surprised, that was with a slightly gutted car gotta do more!

Mikey is a great tuner had alotta fun with the car on the street it's a problem alot more fun than my 35r sti (my old 09)

Thank you to eveveyone for the great comments and support!

No reason, its actually maf based tuning utilizing the SD mapping. I honestly do not prefer one or the other, I like each option. SD is nicer for bigger setups for sure though.

No passenger seat and no back seat. Car has braces and bars, as well as a harness / camara bar. 210lb driver. The 18x9.5 wheels hurt as well. I'll take a pic of it on the scale next time out and post the picture just to show truth behind the fact. Nothing to hide here sir.
