Default Bfgoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S?

Anyone have these yet? They have been on tire rack since July and not a single review or test yet. Tire racks preview looked pretty positive though, just nothing quantitative yet.

dang those must have come out in just the last month...

they are more expensive than gforce sports summer tires ....

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...irePageLocQty=

I guess this would be a competitor of the Pirelli nero M+S... and asx (of course the huge price difference there..)

I just ordered these from the rack the other day & should be receiving them today. I was having problems finding reviews too. Only thing I found on them was a quick little review in Sport Compact Car magazine, which said they were replacing the KDWS's with these & are much improved. Heres a link to the article: http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/te...ort/index.html
I have the KDWS which were pretty good, though they needed improvement for deep snow. Hopefully these are as much of an improvement as stated in the article.
My other options were Michelin Pilot sport A/S or Pilot exalto A/S, however I'm already spending more than I want to & the Michelins are $20 to $30 bucks more per tire. Plus I recently purchased tires for my other car, Falken ZIEX ZE 912 (which are actually rated #1 as all-season UHP tires by consumer reports). However, they are only rated as fair in the snow.
When I get some drive time on the BF Goodwrich, I'll post my opinions. I hope the extra money I spent on these is worth it, because I love the Falkens (especially in the rain)

Keep us posted. I'm on Long Island so your review would be on similar weather handling. I'm looking at these, the new Goodyear F1 A/S and the Yokohama Advan S4 to replace my Pirelli PZero M+S. I called Falken yesterday. They recommend the ZE 512 over the ZE 912 for snowy areas. I think the Goodyears may have more siping for wet/snow than the BF Goodrich's.

I need some snow/slush reviews first. My PZero Nero M+S were awsome EXCEPT in snow and slush. I need better in that area.

They're $119 on the Tire Rack site, and $135 on Costco's. Cheapest around?

Just received the tires from the Rack after 2 days. I'll definately post my opinion on the tires when I get a chance.
Haven't seen much info on the Goodyears. I was considering the Yoks Advan S4, however from what I saw they were rated about the same in the wet & snow as my old Bf Goodrich KDWS. I wish I could comment on how the Falkens handle in the snow, however I can tell you they are fantastic in the wet & heavy rain.
Below I've posted the results of the November Consumer Reports review on 15 ultra high performance tires. Unfortunately they don't have the BF Goodrich or the Goodyear F1s.

#1. Falken Ziex ZE-912
2. Nitto Neo Gen ZR (tied for #1)
3. Yokohama Advan S4
4. Falken Ziex ZE-512 (are being replaced by the 912's)
5. General Exclaim UHP
6. Continental Conti EXtreme Contact (Great in the snow)
7. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (expensive but good tire, especially in the rain/snow)
8. Kumho ECSTA ASX
9. Sumitomo HTR+ (Great in the snow)
10. Pirelli P-zero nero M+S
11. Bridgestone Potenza RE950 AS Pole Position
12. Toyo Proxes 4
13. Cooper Zeon sport A/S
14. Avon Tech M550 A/S
15 Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105

That is the first time I have actually seen the finally tally of that list from consumer reports...and it does give me a hell of a giggle.

The Ziex512 at #5? WOW...just WOW! Maybe the sloppiest handling tire I have driven in a long time. I would rather have the RE92's. But I would imagine they would do great in the snow....as soft as they are.

And the Sumitomo's were OK but wore VERY poorly and got VERY noisy despite rotations every 3000 miles.

I would also have to ask if they ever considered upping the tire pressure for the Toyo's. I had them and added a couple psi at each corner and LOVED them.

I am currently on the Goodyears and they are amazing in the wet. I hope they do nearly as well in the snow.

Anyone have any updates on these. ContiExtremes are on serious backorder, and these look promising. Anyone?

I've driven about 500 miles on these tires so far, a rain storm & 2 snow falls.
I felt confident in the snow & slush, much better than my old BF Goodrich KDW's.
Dry performance is good too, I have alot of twisty roads by me & I have no complaints in any weather condition.
The conti extremes will outperform them in the snow, however in the dry & rain I think these are the overall better choice.

that's not a valid comparison...can you compare them to another all-season you've driven on?

Only other tires I've had on the Suby, seems like a valid comparison considering they still sell the KDW's. These are just better.
BTW, just checked tirerack & they are 9 bucks cheaper per tire from what I paid for them.

of course an all-season is going to be better than a summer tire in the snow like i said, it's not a valid comparison. you're comparing apples to oranges...

The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS are ultra high performance all-season, not summer tires. You must be confused with the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD.
Like I said the g-Force Super Sport A/S are the KDW's replacement & are an improvement.

I'm really thinking about getting these soon. My ASX's are down to 2/32" (only 30K miles)with snow looming. The $135 mounted price at Costco is pretty hard to pass up.

I wish I didn't have to worry about snow.

How are these doing now?

I have been eyeing a set of these instead of actual snow/winter tires.

They are on sale @ Costco right now.

I just got mine (225/45/17) last week. So far so good, but I haven't had a chance to test them and have not driven in snow.

They do ride better than my Kumho ASX (stock size) and are quiet. Mine have some vibration at highway speed so I think I need to get them rebalanced.

Very quick pics before I left for a 300 mile road trip. It was cold and the car is dirty...
