Default Crawford S2 EJ25 Shortblock for sale!

I have a ej25 crawford s2 shortblock for sale. I was told that it was just broken in at 1000 miles when the car caught on fire. This motor had fuel rails that weren't installed correctly which resulted in a gnarly car fire. I purcased the motor with plans to strip it down, clean and reassemble it. I don't have the time right now, nor do I have the room to store the motor. I am selling the heads also.

I don't know what the condition of it is in other then what I have been told. I don't have any reason do believe that it shouldn't run amazing if reassembled. The oil pump and oil pan are included.

The crawford s2 block has forged pistons, forged rods, and a forged crank I believe. I am not sure how much these go for new right now but I think 1600 is a fair asking price.

1400+ Shipping Final Price!

Check out my 55+ feedback.(I wanted to put a banana in here but I can't put any more images :-( )

Would the pistons need to be replaced due to being burnt a bit.

They are charred a little bit, I don't think that is the right word, basically they can be cleaned if they need to be. I have seen motors that are perfectly fine with the same "charring" on the pistons.

This is just carbon build-up. Can easily be gotten rid of.

I'd rather pay more, and let you reassemble the engine for me.. That way, I know the condition of the engine
Want to do that? How much?
