Question May I have you to look at my logs, please?

I am still very new to the tuning scene. However, I have modified my ROM lately. Would anyone be kind enough to look at my logs and my ROM to see if it is safe for use?

Any comments about my rom and logs are welcome.

Dear Icslowmo, I have pm you my logs and rom.

I am sorry for the inconvinence. I've just realised that one needs to log in to view attachments.

If you are interested to check out my my logs and rom to see if the rom is safe to run on my car, simply either download it from the above links or leave a msg to say you want them and I will sent them to you via pm.

Thank you

You have too much timing advance at 2K where it looks like you left the stock advance number in and then flattened the map below it. Your KC drops at time mark 578 on one log from 7 down to 5.5 then goes back up. The decrease starts at 2K RPM and wraps up at 2400 RPM which correspond with the high advance value on the map, although it looks like your EL was only about 2.25(1.12) which moves it a few cells over.

Lower the advance value or adjust the base timing map at the 2000RPM row, and it shouldn't pull timing there. Other than that it looks good.

Dear Broxma,

Thank you very much for your generous help and advice. I will change the values accordingly and log some more.

Thanks again.

I tried reducing the Max Ignition Timing Advance by 3 degrees between 2000-2400 RPM at 1.0 -1.1 EL to see if I can fix the drop in KC. However, after 4 reflashes of 3 degrees reduction each time, the drop in KC got worse every time down to KC = 2. Therefore, I increased the Timing advance by 3 degrees from the original value and reduced the KC drop for the above RPM as close as the logs below.

Do you think having around 18 psi has maxed the efficiency of my turbo on my rex?

How can I get more power from my rom?

Is my AFR on the rich side? How lean should I aim at going for each rpm when I get my LM-1?

Thanks
