Good looking color.
I might be picking up a slightly used 2007 NBP soon.
First objective: get rid of those teeny stock wheels.

Question, where can one get the front "lip" that goes under the bumper? That is a must, IMO.

I think the first thing to do is black out the head lights... so simple and make a world of difference on the 06-07

I actually like the WRB a little more than newport blue, but the WRB is a little too common. One of the great things about this color (especially with a wagon!) is that no cop is ever gonna pick you out of a crowd as a speeder. No one seems to notice you in a NB car - they're usually owned by women over the age of 40.

I got this one because in Oct. 07 it was the only 2007 manual wagon left in the state of MN. Every other car was either a sedan or, worse, an automatic.

My new wheels...rota sdx time attacks 17x7.5 w/kumho ecsta spt shoes

I know it needs a drop. I've got STi springs, just waiting for the rest of the suspension parts to show up.

Should I paint the lips newport blue to match? Or just black? Or leave it alone - red?

First of all, if you have a newport blue 2.5i, you're out of luck. This color is only an option on 2.5i's, not WRX's or STI's (winged trunks). You'll have to buy a spoiler from subaru.
Secondly, if you have a 2.5i you shouldn't bother putting a wing on it. It is "ricer" - ie. All show, no go. Do performance mods first, not stupid things like giant spoilers on a car that barely breaks the 100mph mark. FAIL

too bad some 2.5is come with wings on them and im pretty sure putting a stock wing on a 2.5i would not look ricey at all.

2.5i's don't "come with" spoilers - they are an option up to each individual buyer - in other words, you'd have to order a spoiler from the factory to get one. If someone did bother to get a spoiler for his/her 2.5i, I can't imagine them wanting to trade. Good luck, though.

Now you got me wondering about the spoiler, so:

There's a 2.5i thread right here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1098012
And on the first page is a black 2.5i with a spoiler. Maybe you can trade with someone who doesn't mind your newport blue trunk or is getting a paint job anyway? There's also quite a bit of discussion of "to spoiler or not to spoiler" on these pages. A bit off-topic, but you can see that quite a few people see eye to eye with me. Doesn't make me right, I know.

By the way, here's also SubaruGenuinePart's webpage for sedan spoilers:
https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=256
Newport blue pearl not an option. Sucks, huh?

I don't know about anyone else, but I've never seen a newport blue impreza with a spoiler. Maybe there's one or two out there, but they certainly paid extra for the spoiler and probably wouldn't want to trade. You can go to the dealership and order one perhaps, but for that kind of money you'd be better off putting sway bars on your car. They'll make your car a lot more fun to drive.

The guy wants a spoiler how is that rice. He didnt ask for your opinion on a wing. All he needs to do is go to the dealer and order one that was really all you needed to post. Your post was being to rude and aggressive. There for FAIL!!

oh and sleeper just worry abourt urself bro.. if he wants a spoiler the let him get a spoiler.. a wrx spoiler would not look bad or "ricey"

btw paint the lip on your wheels newport blue.. im not feeling it with the red.. it would look hot with a blue lip.

Thanks! I've been thinking about that ever since i got them. I just can't decide - red lip, black lip, or (newport) blue.

If I keep them red, then I may put on my rallitek decals in each back side window (the little one). It's the same color red as the lip, so it may help bring it together. Not sure though.

Oregon RallyX in September. I had the dirtiest car by far, so I was inspired to buy some RallyArmor Mudflaps.

^^02-03 WRX catback (muffler back painted black), debadged, Rallitek sway bar, RA mudflaps obviously.

It wouldn't look bad, but it'll be one more thing to wash and wax around.
